America’s VetDogs
Patriotic service is one of the core missions of the NSCDA and we are thrilled to support America’s VetDogs, a program that provides veterans and first responders with service dogs. All of VetDogs’ services are provided at no charge to the individual.
Since 2021, the NSCDA has partnered with America’s VetDogs through their “Puppies with a Purpose” program. The cost for us to sponsor one puppy is $6,000. Thanks to the generosity of our State Societies, individuals, Town Committees, and the National Patriotic Service Committee, the NSCDA has sponsored 34 dogs thus far and is nearing $250,000 raised–with the goal to reach this amount in time for America’s 250th celebration.
