The National Society of Colonial Dames of America in Connecticut (NSCDA-CT) has been saving historic buildings, records and promoting American history programs for over 100 years. On March 4th, a representative from the Dames will be giving a free talk at Pomperaug Woods on pioneering women in Historic Preservation.
The Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum in Wethersfield, which is owned by the NSCDA-CT, will soon be opening its new Education and Visitor Center. A scale model of this highly anticipated facility will be on view at the talk.
The event is free, but registration is requested. Please call 203-267-2879 to RSVP.
Please note: This event at Pomperaug Woods is open to the public.
