Breaking Ground for the Piazza on the Deane House

June 8, 2026 marked the official groundbreaking of the Piazza Restoration Project at the Deane House. It was an exciting milestone for a project that has been envisioned and discussed for decades.

The restoration will recreate the piazza that originally stood at the front of the historic Silas Deane House. The groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of excavation and construction, the first visible steps toward bringing this important historic feature back to life.
